MULCAHY, Maura (née Smith) (Máire Uí Mhaolchatha), of Donnybrook, Dublin (formerly of Cavan), January 20, 2021, (peacefully) at St Vincent’s University Hospital, after a short illness. Deeply missed by Liam, stór a croí and husband of 60 years, her children Oisín and Méav, and her brother Charlie. Predeceased by her beloved brother Con. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Gemma, Margaret, Ryta, and Peggy, brother-in-law Kevin, Michael, daughter-in-law Edwina, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Liam, Colm, Alanna, Moya, Anna and Catherine, her nieces and cherished extended family, and many dear friends. With thanks to the staff at St Vincent’s and especially the devoted staff at Leeson Park Nursing Home, where she lived so happily with Liam in recent years. In accordance with current public health restrictions, a private funeral service, for immediate family only, will take place today (Monday) at 10 am at The Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook and may be viewed on https://Livestream.absentfriends.ie/MauraMulcahy followed by committal at Mount Jerome Crematorium which may be viewed on www.vimeo.com/event/139693 . A memorial service, for all who loved Maura, will be held at a later date after restrictions are lifted.
