ARCHER John Houghton (Rathmichael) - August 30, 2013, peacefully and with great dignity in the wonderful care of the Beacon Hospital, (previously in the care of the BlackrockHospice Homecare Team); darling husband and best friend of Pat, adoring father of Mandy and Michele; a truly unique Papa to Barry, Emma, Sophie, Megan, Hayley, Abbie, Jamie and Guy and father-in-law to Andrew and Karl. Loved and remembered by his sisters Olive and Rachel, brother-in-law Neville and his wife Enid, sisters-in-law Heather and Stella, the extended family and many friends. There will be a private cremation tomorrow, Tuesday. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday afternoon (September 4) at 1.30 o'clock in Rathmichael Parish Church. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Blackrock Hospice.
