DUFFY - James John, Kilkenny, Castlebar (formerly of Oughty, Drummin, Westport): On August 24, 2023, peacefully in his 90th year at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Thady and Teresa, brothers and sisters; Martin, Bridget, Mary, Teresa, Patrick, Andy, Mikie, Ted and Peter (Pe). He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen (née Ruddy, Belmullet) and their children; Kathryn, Maria, Noreen, Barbara and James, and his brother John, his sons- in- law; Kevin, Rait, Olivier and Colin and daughter-in-law Kathy, his fifteen grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren, his two sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 HT38 on Sunday 27th August from 5pm to 7pm. The Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Monday 28th August for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by Removal to Shannon Crematorium arriving for service at 4pm.The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar.
