GALVIN, Fr. John (Rathmines, Dublin) April 13, 2023 peacefully at St James’ Hospital after a short illness. He will be sadly missed by his brother Tom, his best friend Maryrose (McCormack), sister-in-law June, nieces, nephews, Archbishop Dermot Farrell and all his colleagues in the Dublin Diocese, extended family and his wide circle of friends and former parishioners. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier St on Sunday (April 16) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (April 17) at 11.00am in Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines followed by burial in Rosemount Cemetery, Moate, Co. Westmeath (arriving 3.00pm approx.).
