HACKETT, Thomas (Tomás, Tom) (Kinvara, Co. Galway, previously Carlisle Street, Dublin 8). 29th June 2025. Peacefully in the excellent care of the staff in Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services Harold's Cross after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved son of the late Bridget (Jappie) and Willie Hackett, husband of the late Finula. Much loved brother of Liam, Padraig and the late Maura, brother-in-law to Margaret, Marian and George. Tomás was a dearly loved uncle to Teresa, Fiona, Lisa, Conor, Ailbhe and Eoghan, granduncle to Mercy, Lola, Mylo, Ada, Lía and Ruadhán and he had a wonderful circle of friends and neighbours including Moodie and Claire, Utz and Thirza, Darren and Joanne. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road today (Tuesday) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Harold’s Cross D6W KW21 for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery. Family flowers only.
