SWEETNAM, Miriam Frances Jennie (née Lloyd) (Sligo and formerly of Longford and Clontarf, Dublin) - July 4, 2022, peacefully in the loving care of Summerville Healthcare, Strandhill, Co. Sligo, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Sweetnam for 62 years, devoted mother to Lloyd (deceased), Rodney, Paul and Mark and mother-in-law to Hazel, Mary, Rosie and Dawn, wonderful grandmother to Erica, Meriel; Gareth, Emma; Joshua, Hannah; Darragh, Maeve, and Hugh and great-grandmother to Brenna; Conor, Ann, Sé, Iona; Evie and Jude. Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) today (Thursday) from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Service will take place in St. John’s Cathedral, John Street, Sligo tomorrow (Friday) at 2.00pm and will be live streamed via www.studiorove.ie/msweetnam. Burial follows in Drumcliffe Churchyard. Please be mindful whilst gathering of the current rise in Covid numbers. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. John’s Cathedral Renovation Fund c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo via www.feehilys.ie/pay. Family homes strictly private, please. Our deepest sympathy to all the family on the passing of Miriam. She was a very special lady who helped to make our time in Sligo (1959/1969) a most memorable time with her kindness and friendship.
