KANE - Michael, Chestnut Lane, Galway. On the first anniversary of his death, Michael’s wife and family would like to thank all those who helped to care for him during his final illness, in particular his GP, Dr. Eamonn O’Shea, the home care team of the Galway Hospice, the night nurses of the Irish Cancer Society and Fr. Tony Finn of the Augustinian community. Heartfelt thanks to our extended families, friends, neighbours for their kindness and support at this sad time and afterwards. Thanks also to all those who attended Michael’s wake and funeral Mass, including his many former colleagues, and to those who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
