KAVANAGH, Aileen (née Gallagher), late of Marley Court, Rathfarnham, and formerly of Churchtown, passed away peacefully September 20, 2024, in the tender loving care of the staff at Orwell Private, Rathgar. Beloved wife of the late Dermot and adoring mother of Tony, Janet, Andrea, Darragh and their late infant son Peter. Pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law Sandra and siblings Neans and Kevin; Aileen will be sadly missed by her children, her 10 cherished grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law Mick, sister-in-law Maura and all extended family, neighbours and friends. Aileen will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, tomorrow (Tuesday, September 24) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (September 25) to the Divine Word Church, Marley Grange, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a cremation service at 12pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
