GILHOOLY Dr. David (Duneany, Kildare and London) - May 8, 2019. Much loved son of Seamus and Letitia. Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, beloved partner Jack, brother Desmond, sister Sarah, sister-in-law Ulla, niece Charlotte, extended family and many friends. Reposing at his home in Kildare from 5pm to 7pm tomorrow (Wednesday). Funeral Mass at 12.30pm in St. Brigid's Parish Church Kildare on Thursday (May 16). Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery. McWey Funeral Directors, Kildare Town, Ph 045 521708 for arrangements. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Dr. David Gilhooly Memorial Scholarship at Global Emergency Care Skills. Collection boxes in the church or contact info@gecs.ie David lived life out loud and showed care and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him or being treated by him. In celebration of David's life, and his sartorial flair, dress code is colourful and fabulous. Dress to impress him.

I am a nurse in Temple St and I worked with David. He was loved by all and so kind and gentle with the kids. We are all devastated for all of your family. Best wishes Barbara O'Higgins
