HAYES Michael D (Rathcoole) - On this First Anniversary of Michael's death, his wife Rita, his children Gráinne, Rhonwen, Tara and Gareth, his son-in-laws Liam and Dave, Gareth's partner Stephanie along with his grandchildren, Richard, Glyn, Ben, Evan, Lana, Roan, Éile and Ada, wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who has supported them and offered their love and support over the past year. A year ago, we celebrated Michael's life and we would like to thank everyone including the Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir for making that celebration a true reflection of Michael's life - full of music, memories and joy. In particular we would like to thank Fr. John Gilligan, Fr. Michael Shiel SJ and Fr. George Wadding CSsR for their celebration of the Requiem Mass. We would like to thank everyone who came and celebrated Michael's life with us including those who travelled from Wales and Italy, especially his sister Marilyn. The beautiful letters, expressions of condolences, cards, phones calls and text messages gave us great comfort. We truly appreciated all the visitors who came to the house - you all provided great comfort to us and shared lovely memories of Michael. We particularly appreciated the great kindness shown to us from all the neighbours and in particular the Donohue Family for all their incredible unforgettable support. We would like to thank Professor Enright and her team as well as the nursing staff of the Maguire Ward, the Haematology Day Ward and the Intensive Care Unit of Tallaght University Hospital for their wonderful care of Michael. Michael is greatly missed every single day, but he lives on in some wonderful memories. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
