MARA, John C., (Malahide and formerly of Clontarf), proud past Captain of Malahide Golf Club, February 21, 2024, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Colette (née Collins), very sadly missed by Colette, children Catherine, Claire, Stephen, Elizabeth and Rosemary, sons-in-law Michael, Niall, Paul, Conor and Stephen’s partner, Sinéad, his adored grandchildren Finn, Orlaith, Siún, Freya, Shaunie, Willow, Grayson, Skylar Rose, Rory, Cormac, Eve, Aidan, Eli and Bump, siblings Eugene, Barry, Freda and predeceased by Tim and Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and his beloved dog, Rashers. Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock today (Monday), from 2pm to 4pm. Removal to St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide tomorrow (Tuesday) for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. House private please. Please refer to rip.ie for webcam link.
