HASTINGS, Patrick (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) June 10, 2016, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and close friends, following a long illness, courageously fought, in the outstanding care of St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Dearly loved husband of Val, loving father of Alex and the late baby Kim. He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, brother Bill and by his extended family and many friends. Rest In Peace. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (June 15) at 10.00am in the Church of the Holy Family, Kill Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Greystones Cancer Support, can be made at the church."Gone home"
