PRESTON (Samuel) (Joe) (Late of Grace Park Heights, Drumcondra, and Murrisk, Co. Mayo) - The family of Joe Preston wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their bereavement earlier this year. Our thanks to all who attended the removal, funeral Service and burial. Thank you to all who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, telephoned, sent floral tributes and made donations to the Alzheimer's Society. We would like to thank those who travelled long distances to be with us. We cannot thank enough the management and staff of Abbey Breaffy Nursing Home who made Joe's last few months so comfortable and who cared for him to the end. Thanks to Dr. Broderick and to the staff of Mayo General Hospital for their medical care. Sincere gratitude to the priests who prayed with us in the nursing home, in particular, Archbishop Neary, to the priests of the Church of the Holy Family, Larkhill, and to the Bethany Group who helped to organise the Church Services. Special thanks to William Pugh for the beautiful singing, to Robert who served the Mass so well, and to those who read and said the Prayers of the Faithful. Our thanks to Lanigan's Undertakers for their professionalism and kindness, and to the staff of Clontarf Golf Club who catered for the family after the funeral. Finally, to Joe's very dear neighbours and friends, the staff of the Dublin Dental Hospital, his dental colleagues, members of Clontarf Cricket Club, and our extended family and friends thank you for your support and sympathy. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
