On this, Frankie’s first anniversary, Brian, Sheena and Niall extend our sincere thanks to all who attended her repose, funeral Mass and to all who called personally, sent letters or cards, or e-mailed messages of condolence and sympathy. All were very welcome and eased our grief after her long battle, stoically borne by a truly amazing patient.

To our extended families we cannot thank you enough for the constant and generous support during Frankie’s prolonged illness.

We would also like to thank all of the medical staff who have helped Frankie over the course of her illness: particularly Dr Justin Kinsella, her Parkinson's consultant, in St Vincent’s, as well as Mr Conor Hurson, the nurses and doctors in St Lawrence’s and St Michael’s Ward, in St. Vincent’s Hospital who cared for her during her final stay, and also the nurses and doctors in St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, who looked after her during her admission in 2022. Our thanks also to the HSE Dalkey home care team and Blaithin and the staff at Dalkey pharmacy.

We express our gratitude to our funeral Mass celebrant Father Brian O’Sullivan, Father Dennis Kennedy (St. Joseph’s, Glasthule) and to Carnegies (Undertakers) for their excellent service and assistance.

Finally, a special thanks to musicians Ronan Murray and Kerrie O’Connor who provided such a sensitive and moving ambience to the funeral service.
