MEANEY, Fr. Anthony - The family of Fr. Tony wish to thank all who expressed their sympathy on his recent death. To the Bishops and Priests of the Down and Connor Diocese, to the Parishioners where he served: Dunloy, Cushendall, Dundrum/ Ballykinlar and Saul/Ballee. To the Provincial O.D.C. brothers and sisters of the Carmelite Order. To those who sent messages by phone or letter and to the wider community who sympathised on Fr. Tony's death. To the staff and pupils of Saul Primary School, Ballycruttle Primary School, The De La Salle Secondary School and St. Mary's Secondary School and the choirs of Saul and Ballee Parish. To the sacristan and staff of St. Patrick's Church, Downpatrick for their kindness. To the ministers and parishioners of other Christian Churches, and to all who attended the removal and funeral, many thanks. The family also thank the staff of the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital, the Downe Hospital, Downpatrick and Kings Castle Nursing Home for their kindness and nursing care. To Ciaran Fitzpatrick and the staff of Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their efficient carrying out of all arrangements of Fr. Tony's funeral. To The Cuan Restaurant, Strangford for food and refreshments. To the gravediggers, to Allie Dobbin, Sean Taggart and Noel Holland. To all who helped in any way we are deeply grateful. Fr. Tony's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on 26th April at 6.30pm in St. Patricks Church, Saul, Downpatrick. The Meaney Family, Lavalla, Ballynacally, Ennis, Co.
