WHELAN, Niall (Goatstown) - April 5, 2017, (peacefully), in the presence of his loving family, in the excellent care of Belmont Nursing Home, devoted and cherished husband of Miriam (née McDonald), much loved Dad of Alan, Cliodhne and Kilian, beloved Papa to Nicola, Emma, Sinead, Aoife, Laura and Shira, loving father-in-law to Jim, Mary and Elaine and brother of Declan, Kieron and the late Brian; sadly missed by his family, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Reposing at Fanagan's Funeral home, Dundrum from 5.00pm -6.30pm this (Friday) evening. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to St Mary's Church, Sandyford arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only.
