RYAN Dr. Stephen John (Clontarf, Dublin and late of Beaumont Park Clinic) May 22, 2017 after a short illness in the Blackrock Clinic surrounded by his family, beloved husband of the late Grainne and dear father of Cormac, Orla (Sheil), Caoilfionn (Trench), Stephen, and the late Sinéad. Adored Dadjo to Blaithín, Charlie, Ritchie, Róisín, Grainne, Rory, Delfine, Beatrice, Lucy, Alex, Serena and Andrea; sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-aw, grandchildren, relatives, colleagues and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his residence today (Wednesday) from 6.00 o'clock to 8.00 o'clock. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough Street arriving at 10.50 o'clock for Funeral Mass at 11.00 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Old Balgriffin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

RYAN Dr. Stephen John, (Clontarf) - May 22, 2017. Cormac, Orla, Caoilfionn and Stephen wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with us on our great loss. We treasure the kindness of family, friends, colleagues and neighbours and those who supported Stephen and us during his short illness. We appreciate those who attended Stephen's wake and funeral especially his former patients. We were deeply moved by the kind condolences, Mass cards, letters and floral tributes. We would particularly like to thank Dr. John Casey and Stephen's former colleagues at Beaumont Park Clinic. We would like to thank Prof. Rizwan Ud Din and the doctors and nurses of Blackrock Clinic for the care and attention given to Stephen. We thank Fr. Damian O'Reilly, Adm, for his spiritual support and funeral Mass. We thank the staff and volunteers of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral and thank Sharon Lyons and her accompanist for the beautiful singing and music. We would like to thank Mr. E. Buckmaster of Lanigan Undertakers for his professional services. Stephen's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Sunday, May 27) at 11.00 am. in St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral.
