COOKE Richard (Dick) (Goatstown) - August 21, 2014, in the outstanding and tender care of the staff of Kilgobbin Ward, Leopardstown Park Hospital, beloved husband of the late Joy, (née Condon), adored father of Lyn, Roy and Sandra, cherished grandfather of Heather, Mark, Robert, Andrew, Katie and Stephen, wonderful father-in-law of Pat, Hilary and Michael, loving brother of the late Norrie and Helen; he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Service tomorrow (Saturday) in Christ Church, Taney Road, Dundrum at 11.00 o'clock and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Leopardstown Park Hospital.

<p>Happy Days</p> <p>Dick, I have happy memories of our single days in Dublin in the 40's and 50's, when we were good friends and lodged together in Iona Road. I was also an usher at your wedding to Joy and I remember well that happy day and still have photos of the joyful event.
