NIXON, (née Hett) Athlone. Dell, peacefully in the in the wonderful care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone on 26th April 2021. Retreat Heights, Athlone and formerly of Ballykilleen, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert (Bob) Nixon, her son Myles and grandson Jesse, brothers Jack, Pat and Mick, sisters Kit, Mary (Sr Amelie) and Sally. Dearly loved mother of June Parker (Nenagh), Eugene (Dunboyne), Terry (Boston), Robbie (Brussels) and Fidelma (Athlone). Sadly missed by her son-in-law, Denis and daughters-in-law, Helen, Mags and Catriona, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rest in Peace. A private funeral will take for family members only. The Sullivan family, Plymouth, Massachusett​s Sending sincere condolences to you all. Mrs. Nixon was a visitor to our home one summer, on one of her frequent trips to Boston. A wonderful, warm, & friendly woman. RIP
