HARDIMAN, Maureen (née Grealish) (Church View, Tuam, Co. Galway.) June 17, 2021. Maureen in her 106th year, peacefully, at her home in the care of her daughter Elizabeth. Predeceased by her husband Brian and son Pat. Survived by her daughters, Treasa, Ann, Frances, Elizabeth, Mary and her son, Tomás, son-in-law, Jodi Cahill, daughters-in-law, Mary Hardiman and Mary Murphy, her many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Throughout her long and happy life, Maureen showered her love on all who came into contact with her. Her grace, elegance, kind nature and beautiful singing voice was always in evidence. She had the distinction of being the oldest citizen of Tuam at her passing. At the wishes of her family and in keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines on public gatherings a private Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Tuam today (Saturday) at 12.00 o’c for immediate family only.
