MURPHY, (Rostrevor Co. Down, former All Ireland winning fullback 1960/61), February 20, 2017, (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family, Leo, much loved husband of Sodilva, and loving father of Ciara (Phillips), Tara (McGlone), Leon and the late Donard John, dear brother of the late Raymond. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law (David and Brian), daughter-in-law Fennie and grandson Conor (McGlone). Also by his brothers and sisters, Willie, Matthew, Maurice, Peter, Sr. Theresa Brigid (Carmelite Monastery, Malahide), Anne (Molina) and by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends. Reposing at the family home 23 Cloughmore Road, where respects may be paid between 1.00pm and 10.00pm today (Tuesday), February 21. Removal of the remains from his family home tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church. Burial afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery. Family circle only in the family home on the morning of the funeral please. Family flowers only. Requiescat in Pace.
