FENELON, Laurence (Foxrock, Dublin 18) - November 29, 2024, very peacefully, at the St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Larry, beloved husband and best friend of Mary for 56 years, adored father of Ronan, Mark, Morgan and Laurence. Devoted grandfather of Sophie, Charlotte, Rebecca, Harry, Alex, Lara, Louis and Leo. Deeply missed by his sister Dolly and predeceased by his siblings Billy, Essie, Syl, PJ, Josie, Tim, and John and by his grandson Killian. Larry will be forever loved and sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Suzanne, Elena and Lorraine and by his son-in-law Shaun, 34 nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Dad (Larry) was a gentleman, with a very kind of heart, who was a devoted and loving husband to Mary and his family, and also to his garden and golf. He was a man of incredible integrity and kindness who led a great fulfilling life over his 87 happy years. Reposing at his home in Foxrock this (Monday) evening from 5.00pm-8.00pm. House private at all other times. A Mass to celebrate Larry’s life will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.00am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park. No flowers please.
