McALINDEN - (nee McDonagh) Maire (Sandymount, Dublin 4 and formerly of Oranmore, Co. Galway). 10th February 2026. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her husband and loving family. Beloved wife of Joe, adored mother of John, Susan and Orla and devoted and cherished grandmother of Philippa, Emily, Georgia, Kate and Victoria. She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law Mattie, sisters Cecily and Margaret, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Maire was pre-deceased by her brothers Paddy, Laddie, Anthony, Tom and George and sisters Connie and Nan. Reposing at her home in Sandymount today (Thursday) from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 10.00am in Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, Dublin 4 followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
