<p>Sdaly Missed in his native Bruff</p> <p>It was with great saddnes that the news of Daithi's passing reached his native Bruff. He was held in very high esteem and was regarded as Bruff's most famous son. His love for Bruff and the fond memeories which he held were always very prominent. Two years ago, Daithi returned to launch the first ever edition of "Images of Bruff."</p> <p>On behalf of all the members of Bruff Heritage Group may I offer our deepest symapthy to Caitriona and all members of his family. He will be sadly missed in Bruff but will not be forgotten.</p> <p>May He Rest In Peace.</p>

<p>A great loss for family and Celtic research</p> <div>I had the opportunity to meet Daithi a few years ago when I went to UCDIUTstudents'exchanges. He took great care of me when I went to UCD in order to read through the famous schoolbooks archives. Quite recently we exchanged messages in which he so kindly answered my questions about Celtic traditions and showed great courage as he was fighting against the damned disease. A great loss indeed for the family and researchers'friends. May he rest in peace.</div> <div>Depest sympathy to Caitriona and children.</div> <div>Pr Daniel Giraudon, university of Brest</div> <div>daniel.giraudon@sfr.fr</div> <div>Brittany</div>
