TIERNEY, Desmond (Dublin) - died May 17, 2012. Anna, June, John and Lucy together with the extended family would like to thank all relatives, friends and colleagues who supported us at the time of Des' death. We wish to thank most sincerely those who attended the removal at the Church, the funeral Mass and burial, sent letters of condolence, Mass cards and travelled long distances to be with us at this sad time. We are very grateful to Matron and all the staff at Beechfield Manor who cared so well for Des in the final years of his illness and to Marjorie and the team at Loughlinstown Hospital for their kindness to Des and support of the family in his last days. Thank you to Fr. Michael, Fr. Rory and the Ministers of the Eucharist who attended Des at the Nursing Home. Special thanks to Fr. Eanna Condon and Fr. John O'Connor who recited the prayers at the removal and Fr. Eamon Monson who celebrated the Mass and attended the burial. We greatly appreciate Maeve Lynch's wonderful music at the Church and graveside. Our thanks to Colliers Undertakers for their professionalism. We are grateful to those who donated to The Jack and Jill Foundation. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation as we have not been able to thank everyone individually. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
