GALLAGHER, Patrick (Pat)

GALLAGHER, Pat, (Professor Emeritus of Spanish, UCD, formerly of Dundrum, Dublin 16, Cairo, London, Paris, Badajoz and Sheffield) peacefully on April 11, 2023 with his children by his side, in the exceptional care of the staff at Ashbury Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Kristine and cherished, wonderful father of Brigid Phoebe, Ellen Victoria, Catherine Mary and Stephen Jacob Eugene. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, loving brother and sister Brian and Maev, sons-in-law Emmet and Driss, adored grandchildren Charlie, Daniel, Leo, Myles, Felix, Mounir and Zeinab, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, many friends and neighbours. Reposing on Monday (April 17) from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (April 18) at 10:50am in the Church of the Holy Family, Kill Avenue, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. May he Rest in Peace.
