McSWEENEY - Paul (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) September 14, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, following a tragic swimming accident in Dun Laoghaire. Paul, beloved husband of Gemma, loving father of Eleanor, Richard, Hannah and Grace. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Terry. Very sadly missed by Eleanor’s partner Konstantin, parents-in-law Natalie and Maurice, sisters Flo, Brenda and Anne, brother Patrick, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his extended family and friends. Reposing at Quinns of Glasthule tomorrow (Friday) from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Service on Saturday morning (September 20) at 10am in the National Maritime Museum, Dun Laoghaire followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Irish Coast Guard, local lifeguards, Dublin Fire Brigade, National Ambulance Service, Gardaí and to the wonderful staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital.
