SHIELDS, Dr. Rose (Dalkey, Co. Dublin.) August 19, 2020. In her ninety-fifth year, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Eldest daughter of the late Prof. B.F. and Helen Shields. Predeceased by her brothers William-John and Fr. Joe, S.J. (Hong Kong) and her sister Kathleen. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her sister Frances, her cousins and their family and friends. Rest in Peace. In keeping with H.S.E. guidelines, a private family funeral will take place in The Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
