GALLAGHER - Ã GALLCHÃIR, Hugh (Hugo) Aodh (Ryevale Lawns, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Inch Island, Co. Donegal and retired Dept of Agriculture) - December 21st 2023, Peacefully after a short illness borne with great bravery and courage, at home, in the arms of his loving wife Mary and family. Predeceased by his loving son Tom and sister Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Olive, Deirdre, Éadaoin, daughter-in-law Áine, sons-in-law Dan, Liam and Colm, brother John, sisters Anne, Mary, Rosaleen and Margaret, sisters-in-law Eileen, Carmel and Sheila and brothers-in-law Dave and Johnny, adoring grandchildren Aisling, Caoimhe, Niamh, Hugo, Martha, Conall, Éabha, Ciara, Tom, Harry and Darragh, Gallagher and Moriarty, relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours. Ní imithe uainn ach tamaill romhainn. Reposing at his residence on (Friday) from 3pm-8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 9.30am to arrive at The Church of Our Lady's Nativity, Leixlip for 10am funeral Mass, followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. Those who are unable to attend the funeral, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section on www.rip.ie.
