POYNTON, Robert G.E.(Rathfarnham) - March 22 2019, (peacefully), surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff of St Vincent's Private Hospital. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Sandra, loving father of Joanne and Kyle and beloved brother of Valerie and twin brother Denis, adored Grandad of Lorinne and Kalyssa and father-figure to Pierre. Fondly remembered by Denis's wife Cherry and Valerie's husband Noel. Also greatly missed by his extended family and many friends including fellow Camino walkers. Service of Thanksgiving in Abbey Presbyterian Church (Findlater’s) at 12pm today (Monday). Family flowers only. If desired, donations for the Abbey Spire Fund and Oncology Dept of St Vincent's Private Hospital will be gratefully received on the day. Buen Camino.
