McCARTHY - Dr. Eva (née Moore) (Raheen, Carrigrohane, Cork) August 24, 2022. Eva passed away peacefully, in the kind care of Cuan Chaitríona Nursing Home, Castlebar. Much loved mother of Finn, Deirdre, Brian and predeceased by her daughter Yvonne. Sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law Paul Soye and Gerard Lyons, grandchildren Shane, Orla, Evelyn, Anna and Eva, great-grandchildren Sadhbh and Sibéal, sister-in-law Patricia Moore, nieces, nephews and friends.At Eva's request, a private funeral took place in Freshford, Co. Kilkenny.
