McGUIGAN, (née Pitchford), Doreen Theresa, (Monkstown, Co. Dublin), January 26, 2020, in her ninety-sixth year, after a brief illness in the excellent care of The Fern Dean Nursing Home and Blackrock Clinic. Beloved wife of the late Michael D. McGuigan and loving mother to Aoife, Owen, Dermot and the late Alan. She will be greatly missed by her extended family, brothers Michael, Anthony and John Pitchford, son-in-law Brian Callan, grandchildren Lydia, Danielle, Natalie, Rachel, Grainne and Oisin and great grandchildren. A Humanist Service in celebration of Doreen’s life will take place on Friday (January 31) at 2pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w followed by cremation. May she rest in Peace. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Barnardos.
