MOODY, Capt. David R., (Bridgewater, Arklow Co Wicklow, formerly of Coolaflake, The Meeting of the Waters, Co Wicklow, of Singapore and Terenure, Co Dublin) July 3, 2022. Cared for by the exceptional Helen and home carers before passing in the tender care of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of the late Theresa and father of Rebecca. Sadly missed by his older children Richard, Mark and Tara and first wife Kate, his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Holly, Hannah, Ella, Sophie, Evangeline, Theodore and Beth, sisters Sheila, Janet, Sue and the late Cathy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Arklow from 6.00pm to 8.00pm today (Tuesday). Funeral service will be celebrated at 11.00am tomorrow (Wednesday) in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Castlemacadam. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via live-stream www.johnsweeneyandsons.ie/our-webcam/. Burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Parkinson’s Association of Ireland; www.parkinsons.ie or The Irish Cancer Society www.cancer.ie. Messages of sympathy and support can be expressed online.
