BROSNAN Mary (née Healy) (Knockanimirish, Headford, Killarney and late of Derrymaclavode Clydagh Valley, Killarney, Co. Kerry). Died October 31, 2018. As we remember Mary on her First Anniversary, Joanne, Clare, Julie and Tony would like to thank all those who have supported them through the past year, whose kindness and words of comfort have eased our grief and given us the strength to bear our loss. We are especially grateful to those who have kept us in their prayers and thoughts, both at the time of the funeral and in the year since. Thank you to the many people who attended Mary's wake, removal, Mass and burial. Your presence was a sign of the esteem in which Mary was held and the many bonds of friendship which extended from her throughout her long life. Thank you to Bishop Timothy Carroll, Fr Tadhg Ó Dochartaigh, Fr. Micheál Ó Dochartaigh, Fr. George Hayes and Fr. Bill Radley who concelebrated the Requiem Mass. Thank you to those who could not attend the funeral but who sent us messages, flowers, letters, cards and texts and all who have since visited, written or telephoned to express their sympathies. We are especially grateful to the staff and management, past and present, of Ard Scoil na nDéise and the Sisters of Mercy, Dungarvan, as well as our neighbours and friends in Killeagh and Ennis who came in such numbers to be with us. Mary received exemplary medical care from Dr. John Geaney, Dr. Fiona Gallagher and the nursing and support staff at Cahernane Medical Practice, Killarney. We are grateful also to Eoin and David Reen and staff of Reens Pharmacies, Killarney and Rathmore, and Nurses Sandra Dineen, Sheila McCarthy and their colleagues at Rathmore Community Health Centre for their help and guidance. Thank you to Murphys Undertakers for their care and professionalism in difficult times. We continue to be blessed with kind neighbours and friends who have been such a help and support to us. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered as a token of our gratitude to all.
