TWEEDY - Captain Robert (Bob) (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Aer Lingus and IAA) December 1, 2025. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Fern Dean Nursing Home, Blackrock. Beloved husband of Anne (Wedick) and adored father of Lynda, Anne and Robert. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law Niall, daughter-in-law Tara, grandchildren Ellen, Laura, Rachel, Greg, Matthew and Tom, great-grandsons Leo and Sam, sisters Elizabeth and Jean, extended family and many friends. Reposing in Carnegies Fanagans Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Service tomorrow (Thursday) 4th December at 11.30am in Monkstown Parish Church followed by committal service in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland.
