To all Griffins, my deepest condolences. I stayed in Churchtown with your family in the summer of 1969, and I loved you all dearly then and still do now. I have wondered many times how you all have fared since. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if only so we can exchange memories of your parents (and at least one story about Martin), the great moon landing of 1969 when I watched NASA from your sitting room, and your mother's wonderful gooseberry jam and brown bread. I hold you dear in my heart, and am so sad, as you all must be, about Martin's death. God bless you all, and much love, Anne Armitage
