PENNEY - Richard William - sadly passed away at Gloucester Royal Hospital, after a period of illness, aged 88 years on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Richard was a devoted and beloved Husband of 62 years to Helen. He was a dearly loved Daddy to Caroline, Bridget, David and Adam, adored Grandfather to Alex, Lucy, Molly, Ned, Kit, Maryam and Najwa and also by his beloved dachshunds. He was a loving father-in-law to Richard and Saffy. He was the ultimate gentleman who will be enormously missed by all his family and his many friends. The funeral service will take place at St. James Church, Longborough, Glos on Thursday 19 January 2023 at 11:00 AM. Helen A long time has passed since we all knew one another but I am very sorry to read about Richard's death. You were a great couple who I was lucky to meet in the early days of my career.
