HAUGHEY, Maureen

HAUGHEY Maureen (née Lemass). Died March 17, 2017. On this her 92nd birthday, the Haughey family would like to express our gratitude to everyone for the sympathy and support they have shown over the last few months. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mater Private Hospital, those who cared for her in her home and everyone who attended her reposing and funeral. In particular, we thank Uachtarán na hÉireann and An Taoiseach who were represented by their aides de camp, the Fianna Fáil leader, Micheál Martin TD, past and present members of the Oireachtas as well as the many people who wrote and contacted us and those who remembered Maureen in their own way. We would also like to thank everyone who helped, assisted and supported us at the time of Maureen's passing and since then. Particular thanks to Father Bryan Shortall, Father Kevin Moore of Malahide Parish, the Palestrina choir, Stafford's Funeral Homes, An Garda Siochána and all who contributed to making her final farewell very special. Finally, we would like to thank extended family and friends for the love and friendship they showed to Maureen during her long and happy life. May she Rest in Peace
