O'MAHONY, John (Tower House, Ballaghaderreen) - On 6th July 2024, formerly of Magheraboy, Kilmovee, County Mayo. Cherished husband of Gerardine, loving father of Gráinne, Niamh, Rhona, Deirdre and Cliodhna, brother of Fr. Dan and Fr. Stephen, brother-in-law Fr. Tommy Towey and extended family. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, the GAA community and his many colleagues and friends.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal. Reposing at home in ‘Tower House’, Market Street, Ballaghaderreen (Wednesday) 10th July (3 - 6pm). House private at all other times please. Removal will take place on (Wednesday) 10th July for prayers at 8 pm in the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Nathy, Ballaghaderreen. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Thursday 11th July at 12pm midday. Burial will follow in Kilcolman Cemetery, Ballaghaderreen. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed via the Cathedral webcam. Family flowers only, please.
