MULCAHY John Denis (Ranelagh, Dublin 6) September 7, 2018 (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his beloved wife Nuala, and his children Nicholas, Michael, Stephen, Brigid, Jack, Hugh and Aengus. Predeceased by his daughter Natasha (1968). Sadly missed by his brother Michael, his sister Judy, his extended family and dear grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been donated to the Royal College of Surgeons. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary´s Church, Haddington Road, Dublin 4, on Thursday (September 13), at 10.00 am. May he Rest in Peace.

I'm sad that John Mulcahy has died. He was a very significant publisher-​editor and was the first person to engage me as a reviewer of books for Hibernia magazine back in the Sixties. May he rest in peace.
