FITZGIBBON, Charity (Cherry) Patricia, (née Chaloner) - (Naramata, British Columbia and formerly of Dublin). Cherry, aged ninety-seven, faced death with courage and died peacefully with her daughter, Pamela, by her side in Penticton Hospital, British Columbia, Canada July 28, 2020. A private and reserved person yet she made many friends of all ages. She was an inspiration who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Cherry is survived by her sister, Mary Shackleton (Lucan), children: John, (British Columbia) Thomas (New South Wales, Australia), Frances (New South Wales, Australia), Pamela (British Columbia), and grandchildren, Gamelle and Fletcher (British Columbia). When the pandemic is over a wake to reflect on Cherry's life will be held in Naramata, where her ashes are to be scattered.
