SAMMON Michael (Derrinkehir, Aughnasheelin, Co. Leitrim) February 23, 2020 - The Sammon family would like to express our sincere thanks to all who extended their sympathy on the passing of a loving and much loved, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and father-in-law. We gratefully appreciate the support of our neighbours, relations, colleagues and friends especially those who travelled long distances, called to our home and attended the funeral mass, shared so many lovely memories, telephoned, sent mass cards, letters of sympathy, messages of condolence, floral tributes, and to all who continue to stay in touch and visit us, your kindness is a great comfort to us and a wonderful tribute to Dad who is so dearly missed. We offer our sincere gratitude to Fr. Sean Mawn and Fr. Johnny Cusack for their participation in the prayers at our home and in celebrating the funeral Mass; to Gerarda for the music and to all who made the Mass such a wonderful celebration of Dad's life. To Smith Funeral Directors, thank you for the professionalism, guidance and attention to detail. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Months Mind Mass for Michael Sammon in St. Mary's Church, Aughnasheelin on Saturday, March 21 at 12.00 noon.
