O'DOWD Father Gabriel, (late of St. Margarets, Diocese of Dublin and formerly of the Diocese of Wellington, New Zealand) April 23, 2020 in the excellent care of the Newpark Care Centre. Predeceased by his brother Father Seamus. Father Gabriel will be deeply missed by his sister Maureen, brother Austin, brother-in-law Eamonn, sister-in-law Helen, nieces, nephew, cousins, parishioners, clerical colleagues, and the many friends who supported his Pastoral Ministry during his sixty years as a Priest. Sadly, due to the current guidelines, a private funeral will take place. A memorial Mass in celebration of Father Gabriel's life will take place at a later date.
