DUTHIE, Ian - I have been overwhelmed by the number of Ian's friends and acquaintances who have contacted me since his passing on January 18, last. Far too many for me to reply to personally. I should have known that Ian's arms enfolded a great and disparate group, each of you keeping in touch and giving him a raison d ĂȘtre for living. To one and all a very big thanks, many have touched my life as well. His final journey will be fulfilled by his pals, in the spreading of his Ashes on the quiet waters of his favourite lake and commemorating what would have been his Fiftieth Birthday. His spirit will live on and continue in my mind, until I too, his loving Dad, shuffle off this mortal coil.
