Sincere condolences to Annmarie and family. Sean was a kind and creative man who wore his skill and learning lightly. He generously shared his knowledge with those of us lucky enough to have worked with him. Slán agus codladh sámh.

Condolences and love, especially to Annmarie and the sisters as well as everyone touched by Sean’s rich and generous life. I am so grateful for the innumerable blessings he brought me, including our children of whom he was rightly proud.

My deepest sympathy to Annemarie and all of Sean's family. Sean was a dear friend and, and for many years in the early Eighties as Script Editor at The Abbey Theatre, he was an invaluable support and guide to many young and aspiring playwrights, myself included. May he now rest in peace.
