McCLOSKEY In Loving memory of Rita, (Wolfe Tone Street, Limerick). A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away on March 13, 2019 - Deeply missed and always remembered by daughters Sylvia and Tara, sons Ger and Clem, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Rickie, son-in-law David and our extended family. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness, sympathy and support extended to us. We thank those who attended Rita's removal from Thompson's Funeral Home and funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue, Limerick. We also express our appreciation to those who sent Mass cards, letters of condolence, floral tributes and perpetual Enrolments and to those who travelled long distances to be with us during this very sad time. Thank you to Rita's large circle of friends who shared with us precious memories and to our wonderful neighbours who were always there when needed. Thank you to Canon Donal McNamara and Fr. Oliver Plunkett for the beautiful Mass and Eve Stafford, soloist for the lovely music. Special thanks to family friend and neighbour Johnny Duhan for his moving rendition of his beautiful song 'The Voyage'. You all helped to make Rita's Mass a celebration of her life and truly memorable for us. Thank you to John Thompson & Sons for their professionalism and sensitivity. A special thanks to the medical teams in Beaumont and Limerick University Hospital Stroke Units for the care and kindness. Thank you to the 'Sunday Night Girls' for your support and years of friendship with Rita. To our special friends, who opened their hearts and homes to us thank you. To our extended family and community who supported us during Rita's short illness and in the weeks since her death, thank you. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Rita's 'delayed' Month's Mind Mass will take place on: Saturday, July 13 at 7.15pm Redemptorist Church, off O'Connell Avenue, Limerick.
