HOPKINS, Lesley, (Donnybrook , Dublin 4. and late of SVUH Dept. of Pathology and laboratory Medicine), September 10, 2016, (peacefully) in the loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved daughter of John and the late Audrey and dearest sister to Jacqueline Devereux, Jean Hodgins and Kim Tyner, sadly missed by her loving father, sisters, brothers-in-law Larry, John and Angus, nieces, and nephews Robert, Mark, Alex, Lauren, Hazel, Holly, Heather, Jonathan, Zoe, Tivon and Alfred, extended family, relatives and many good friends. Lesley will be reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town from 5.00pm to 7.00pm today (Monday). Removal from Rocky Road to Killiskey Parish Church, Ashford, Co. Wicklow tomorrow (Tuesday) morning arriving for 11.00am Funeral Service followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Wicklow Hospice. HOPKINS Lesley (September 10, 2016) - As we lovingly remember Lesley on the first anniversary of her passing, we proudly recall her remarkable courage, optimism and joy of life. John, Jacqui, Jean and Kim would like to express our most sincere gratitude to our, and Lesley's, extended family, relatives, friends, neighbours and to Lesley's work colleagues from SVUH, for their kindness, support and expressions of sympathy following our loss of Lesley. We wish to acknowledge all those who attended her funeral, particularly the Glengara Girls, who travelled long distances to be there. Thank you to those who gave donations to Wicklow Hospice, sent flowers, cards, messages and letters of sympathy. Grateful thanks to Prof. Ray Mc Dermott and the wonderful staff for their care at SVPH also Rev. Jack Kinkead and Mc Crea Funeral Undertakers for their sensitivity. A special word of thanks to the officers and members of Wicklow Golf Club who honoured Lesley on her final journey. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.May Lesley rest in peace.
