LONG, Bernadette (née Nolan) late of Marley Grange, Rathfarnham, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne, on January 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of Michael and loving mother to Felicia, Jenny and Sarah. Predeceased by her brothers Eddie and Tom and her sister Sr. Eugene. Bernadette will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, her cherished grandchildren Daniel, Daragh, Luke, Zoe and Matthew, sisters Anne, Kay and her twin sister Patricia, daughter-in-law Tracey, sons-in-law Keith and Cian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and all extended family, neighbours and friends. Bernadette’s family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to all the wonderful staff at the Marlay Nursing Home for all the care and support given to Bernadette during her time with them. Bernadette’s Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, February 04) at 10am, in the Church of the Divine Word, Marley Grange, D16 H7V2, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, D18 X22C.
