McCARTHY (Drumcondra) - April 11, 2014, (peacefully), at home, Thomas (Tom), (late of B.I.M.), dearly beloved son of the late Mary and Jeremiah and brother of the late John, Frank, Mary and Bernie; he will be sadly missed by his brothers Jerry and Eugene, sisters Elizabeth, Anne, Kathleen and Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and his many friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords today (Tuesday) from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) in St. Columba's Church, Iona Road at 11 o'clock, followed by burial to Dardistown Cemetery.
McCARTHY, Thomas (Malahide, Co Dublin, First Anniversary) - Noreen and all Tom's family wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us at the time of our sad loss, all who called to the house, colleagues, neighbours and friends who helped in any way. Thank you to all who attended his funeral, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy or who travelled a long way to be with us. A sincere thank you to Fr Willie Prendiville, Fr Bruce Bradley SJ, Fr Frank Reburn, Fr Noel Barber SJ, and Fr Peter Sexton SJ, for their kindness and support. Thanks also to his former work colleagues, and especially thanks to the doctors and nurses of Mater Private Hospital who looked after him so well.
