SIMMONS, Edward (Ned) (Milltown, Dublin 6, formerly Highfield Road, Rathgar). On September 3, 2022, Ned passed away peacefully at Peamount Hospital, with his family by his side. He will be hugely missed by his ever-loving wife Rosemarie, his beloved son Robert and adored daughter Sarah, his step-children Caroline and June, his daughter-in-law Naoise and his most precious grandchildren Ross, Sophia and Mia. Pre-deceased recently by his sister Joy. Ned’s Family would like to extend a special thank you to Professor Collins and his team at Tallaght Hospital and both the nurses and carers at Peamount Hospital who looked after him so well. Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, Dublin 6 W tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11.00am to 12.00 noon. Ned’s Funeral Service will take place at St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Enniskerry at 12.30 p.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
